Some of our products are considered flammable and are only allowed by FedEx and UPS on Ground-Only shipments to physical addresses.

Minoxidil is 75% effective if used every 12 hours, twice each day, for the rest of your life or until you don’t care if your hair falls out all at once. Minoxidil used only once each day is 10-25% effective so it’s probably not worth the expense at only one dose per day. If you are going to use Minoxidil, be sure you are willing to commit to the new habit, always have product on-hand, and do not miss doses. You are the best judge of your own commitment level. If you can’t stick with it, don’t even start.

You should never see an increase in hair loss with Loesch® products. Unfortunately, allergic reactions happen on very rare occasions. Allergic reactions happen in less than 1/1000 cases on our strongest products and less than 1/4000 cases on our milder products but we can’t say they don’t happen. If you think you are having an allergic reaction and you stop the products promptly, the temporary hair loss that came from the reaction will be reversible. They key will be getting on another treatment program that does not cause another reaction. There is a very specific way to do this and it should only be done under the supervision of one of our consultants, and your doctor if you want to get them involved. We won’t explain the process here because we want you to work with a consultant so please call 800.231.7157 if you have any kind of allergic reaction.

Our products are efficient on cleaning your scalp, hair regrowth, and maintaining the hair you already have. There is no cure for baldness.

In most cases, where hairline has receded there is a way to reverse. It depends how long you have waited. If you can begin treatment with a Level 2 or Level 3 kit in less than 6-12 months of the areas losing their hair then you stand a good chance of recovering most of what you have lost. If those areas have been slick bald for more than 12 months then they will probably stay that way even with the strongest treatment available Tip: When using Loesch® Hair Growth Products, treat where your hair line used to be, not where it is now. This happens for a specific reason. Sebum, the oily waxy substance produced by glands in the follicles, flows downward and collects around the lower hair line over the ears and around the back downward toward the nape of the neck. As the oily part of sebum dries, the waxy parts build up and clog the follicles leading to an acne condition around the hairline. If this is still happening after 2-3 weeks of treatment, it could mean that the products not being applied to the entire scalp, but only to the top. Please be sure to treat the entire scalp, but don't use more product. Spread the recommended dose more thinly over the entire scalp.

Our products have been carefully formulated to not only clean the surface of your scalp but to also penetrate deep into the hair follicles, which is where the sebum that has been building up for years. We are also an FDA-registered facility. We have been studying our products effect on customer's hair loss patterns since 1951 using the safest, most long-lived treatment program available today.

There are three ways to lengthen the hair growth cycle. 1. Maximize the health of the hair bulbs at the base of the follicle. This is what the products in our Professional Hair Growth System are designed to do by cleaning out the follicles all the way to the bottom. If this is all you want to do, go with our Level 1 kit. 2. If you are over 35-40, you have begun to experience age-related reduction in blood flow to the top of the scalp. This will get progressively worse with age. As blood flow is reduced, the duration of the hair growth cycle for each follicle is shortened in a gradient toward the center of the affected area. This limits the duration for the hair grow cycle thereby limiting the maximum length your hair will reach before naturally dropping out to make room for the next hair to grow. Our Extra-Strength Scalp Activator was created to reverse this blood flow reduction which lengthens the hair growth cycle and actually speeds up your natural growth rate significantly. Our Level 2 kit is the right choice for this option. 3. If options 1 and 2 work but after 1-2 years you don't see all the regrowth you want, you can add Minoxidil. This is a twice-daily hormone that artificially forces the hair growth cycle to lengthen, but it doesn't address the scalp's health or the blood flow through the hair bulbs. Once started, you must use it 2x daily without fail for the rest of your life or your scalp will reset to a natural condition after quitting Minoxidil. This means that the hair growing because of the hormone will fall out leaving the rest growing a shortened cycle duration. Our Level 3 kit includes all of the above options. Whichever of the above options you choose should be continued daily as long as you want to keep the hair growth cycle, and therefore the maximum hair length, to be longer than your normal limit. This will, of course, slowly regress with age but you can increase your treatment strength later if you need to.

The people who get the best results are the ones who use the treatment every day. While it will still work if you use it every other day or every third day, the less frequently you use it the longer it will take to see results. The treatment will not regrow hair if you use it once a week and it will not regrow hair from the shelf. It will also not grow hair if you use only the shampoo. It takes a combination of all of the products to work. This is not a magic pill. It is a long-term treatment intended to grow your hair back and let you keep it your whole life. Because the condition that caused your hair loss will reappear within 6-months to a year if you stop using the treatment, you should continue the treatment but not necessarily every day. Once you reach a point where you are happy with your results, you can cut back to every other day or every third day (the Maintenance Level) and keep your hair but if you start thinning again it means you have cut back too far. Use it more frequently to prevent sliding back into hair loss.

MYTH: Some say that "Hair transplant is the only permanent hair loss solution. That's FALSE. What is the truth? Hair transplantation is a viable option but must be repeated in 10 to 15 years because the transplanted follicles will eventually follow the pattern of the follicles surrounding them and stop growing hair. The procedure can only be performed twice in your lifetime. Everyone who has hair transplant therapy must also use Minoxidil 2x each day for the rest of their lives to get the longest life from the treatment. If you have a hair transplant and end up going bald anyway, the scars from the treatment will be visible as horizontal lines in the back if your head where the strips of scalp were removed...3 if you have one procedure, 6 if you have repeated the procedure.

The Professional System does replace all of the products in the Original System though there are some differences. The Professional System is strong...too strong for a rare few, it's much more convenient, and it's less confusing...fewer steps. We have no intention of discontinuing the Original System, so we are not forcing people to switch. If you try the Professional System and find it's not for you, you can switch back to the Original System without any disruption to your treatment program.

Our products have been manufactured carefully to be safe and effective. We have thoroughly researched our products and we track our clients' progress over decades of use...even into their 80's, and 90's. There has only been the occasional (about 1 in 10,000) report of genuine allergic reaction to our products which is normal with all personal care products.

Frankly, no. Baldness is not a curable condition. The Loesch® Hair Growth System is a treatment that puts your scalp in a condition healthy enough to grow hair without prescriptions or surgery. If you grow your hair back using the Loesch® system and then stop, your scalp will eventually revert back to the condition that caused the hair loss in the first place.

If you are experiencing mild, gradual hair loss, then the Level 1 Kit will reduce your hair loss to a minimum so that your natural hair growth process can catch up. If you are experiencing early or mid-stage male pattern baldness, you would want to start with the Level 2 Kit which would reduce your hair loss to a minimum while stimulating the scalp to grow more hair naturally. If you are experiencing rapid hair loss at a young age or hair loss from a health problem such as hypo- or hyperthyroidism, you should start with the Level 3 Kit to quickly reduce hair loss AND begin growing as much new hair as possible before too much is lost. If you still need more hair growth, the only other option (as of 2006) is Propecia, a prescription drug which causes a known birth defect if a pregnant woman comes in contact with a broken pill or residue from a bottle of pills at a specific point during the pregnancy. If you are already bald, well there really isn't much that can be done. The Level 3 Kit has resurrected hair on some of our customers, but not very often. Loesch® Scalp Activator is a vasodilator that temporarily increases blood flow to the scalp in preparation for whatever you want to apply next. It takes about 5 minutes for Scalp Activator to work and the effect lasts 20-40 minutes.

Absolutely! Women will benefit just as much as men from the Loesch® Hair Growth System. There are a couple issues to be aware of, though. First, many women do not wash their hair daily. The Loesch® system requires twice-daily use with one washing daily. Also, women should not use the 5% Minoxidil because it can interfere with female hormone balance. Women should use the 2% Minoxidil instead.

Yes. You should be aware that our system so aggressively cleans the hair and the follicles that it also causes artificial hair colors to fade faster than normal. Many of our clients who reported this accelerated fading said that they simply colored their hair more frequently because they were so happy with the additional hair growth they did not want to stop using the Loesch® system. Note that strong permanent hair color (level 3) can damage hair follicles if not used properly. Always protect the scalp from exposure to these chemical hair colors and be sure to wash them out thoroughly.
